W H Fowler and Sons was formed in 1947 by William Harold Fowler, and began life with a single bus. The initial bus was used for school runs and various village outings. In 1963 the company doubled in size, when it took over Towlers, another local bus company. The family run business currently employs thirty four staff and has twenty four buses.
